“You were once wild here. Don’t let them tame you.”

About us…

A little bit about me…I have been actively teaching and presenting in the Holistic Health & Wellness industry since 2000. Over the years I have worked with my students helping them gain a deeper connection to their authentic self and inner strength through movement, breath work and wellness workshops. I love helping others sense joy in their minds and bodies.

I originally trained and performed as contemporary dancer before a hip injury stopped my career in 1998. In 2000 I went on to complete a 2 year apprentice programme with The Pilates Foundation at Scotland’s first equipment Pilates studio in Edinburgh. I then continued to further my studies with Stott Pilates in London in 2006. In 2010 I trained to become a Zumba teacher and also taught Body Jam. Then in 2011 I decided to study Nia. Nia changed my life!

Throughout the years I have explored dance, pilates, yoga and holistic healing studies developing my passion for healing through movement. Earlier on in my career I studied reiki and became a reiki master/teacher. I have an affinity to eastern approaches to health and movement. We are so much more than a physical being. The way eastern philosophy takes into account the whole being, the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual body, makes complete sense to me.

In later years I decided to train with Seasonal Yoga as I had always wanted to study yoga, the philosophy and the practise. Seasonal has been a fantastic add on to my existing offering. I am now in my mid 40’s and I know I need to honour my body. Learning to live in alignment with the natural world has been a revelation to me and I look forward to sharing this practise with my students. I don’t ever plan to stop teaching and as I grow older I need to respect my body and listen to what feels good for me too. In class I love blending my knowledge and experience to create classes that inspire and encourage my students to reach their highest potential. I absolutely love teaching and know my purpose is to help others.

I will always continue to be fascinated by the results achieved when incorporating movement and healing systems for the mind, body and soul.

Where we are…

We are based in Aberfoyle above the Intrepid outdoor adventure shop. There is a large car park on the opposite side of the road behind the shops. Parking is free.

I really didn’t think I would get on with the virtual classes but I was missing my Nia community and exercise so I decided to give it a go. It has been a life saver. Kellie exudes the same enthusiasm and energy online as she does in her live classes. I had been really struggling in extended lock down to carve out some quality self care time. Since starting the classes online, I feel so much happier, fitter and stronger. The online community is just as strong. Thank you Kellie – you just keep on giving!
