The healing powers of nature

I love nature. I’m at my happiest when I’m out in the fresh air surrounded by the elements and keeping life simple. My love of the simple life grows as I grow. I’m a free spirit and being as natural as possible has always been my way of life.

I fell in love with Neal’s Yard Remedies over 20 years ago when I visited one of their high street stores. As I entered the shop I remember being in awe at the sight and scents of all the blue bottles, the herbs and the heavenly aromas. To find out that every product in store was sourced naturally and certified organic was a dream come true. Imagine the powers of nature being able to conjure this magical choice of self care products? Straight away I became a customer and loved using ethical organic products knowing that my choices were helping the planet, I wasn’t using harsh chemicals on my skin and my spend was making a difference to the earth. More importantly no animals had ever been harmed during the process. This was my first introduction to healing with nature and the start of my self care at home rituals.

Alongside being a customer I was also gifted the baby range when my daughter was born and I remember this being a luxurious treat for my little one. Just that little bit extra special.. I started to realise Self love, good health and wellness was not only about taking part in dance/fitness classes. We have to address the whole body, the skin we live in and our internal system. I decided that one day I wanted to align my business with a brand that held excellent ethical standards.
I would only share a reputable brand with my members but unfortunately there was no suitable brand available at the time. Thankfully in 2014 I found out NYRO had a new online offering, I jumped at the chance to join Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic and became an independent consultant helping them spread their blue bottle mission.
